Our goal to provide a trusted funeral directors, undertakers and services, and trust is at the centre of everything we do. Our values, policies and processes are designed to be transparent, clear, to protect you and your rights; creating a safe place for you to plan a funeral and in return, we can deliver an impeccable service. Our governance ensures our compliance and quality assurance, so we regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure we are innovative in our practices and continuous in improving our standards of quality.

Sustainability Policy

Purpose

Its in society's interest that our business and everyone in our world considers how we each impact the planet we live.

Scope

We recognise funerals have a negative impact on our environment, so our goal is to make positive social and environmental changes to balance our carbon footprint, so that both us and our communities can survive and prosper.

Policy Principles

Our commitments are to aim: -

Environmental Responsibilities

  • Resources - we aim to offer a variety of funerals and products (such as coffins, caskets, urns and scattering tubes) in a wide range of materials, including those that are more sustainable and natural.
  • Waste prevention and management - we aim to reduce the volume of waste and to recycle whenever we can
  • Supply chain - we aim to use local or UK suppliers to lessen the footprint of products we use
  • Collaboration - we work in partnership with climate impact partner to make social and environmental impacts, creating jobs and planting trees

Social Responsibilities

  • Ethical and transparent - to be honest and fair with our clients, to be transparent with costings, respecting their privacy, and providing them safe and quality care
  • Diversity - to promote diversity in employment and in our funeral services
  • Responsible governance - to manage our risks appropriately
  • Respect - to treat everyone in a respectful way
  • Community - to be part of the community we live and work in,and to support local charities when we can
