Yeovil Crematorium is situated on the west side of Somerset, offers beautiful grounds set in 10 acres. Has chapel for 94 seats plus standing space. Has waiting room, parking spaces (although smaller than other crematoriums) but plenty of parking around. Has wheelchair access, toilets.
Chapel has technology facilities for pre-recorded music, visual photo slides or video shown on screen and space for live musicians. Has peaceful area as you exit out of the chapel into area where any floral tributes can be displayed, and a chance for family and friends to gather.

North Devon Crematorium
North Devon Crematorium is situated in Barnstaple and offers well appointed chapel facilities, set in beautiful well maintained extensive grounds with car parking for around 130 vehicles including disabled bays. It has 2 chapels called Rowan and Aspen they both have facilities to play music and watch videos or photo slide shows, plus live streaming for those who cannot attend to watch in their own home.
Has toilets and a quiet room. It is reported to be one of the largest crematoriums in England seating up to 250 people, offering beautiful glass doors instead of curtains to close during the committal.

Exeter and Devon Crematorium is situated in the former grounds of Northbrook Park Estate, Exeter. It has 14 acres of beautiful well maintained gardens and grounds. Has 2 multi faith chapels suitable for large numbers of mourners. Has up to date technology to play pre-recorded music, live stream the funeral service, showcase photo slideshow or video on their screen, as well as facilities for live musicians.

East Devon Crematorium
East Devon Crematorium is situated in Whimple Exeter and offers multi faith chapel seating 95 people with additional space for up to 105. Has plenty of parking including disabled bays and access.
The chapel has facilities to broadcast through speakers in the foyer and webcast to people who cannot attend the funeral in-person at all, and recorded onto a CD. Music can be performed on an organ by the crematorium's resident organist, but an extensive selection of pre-recorded pieces are available from the Wesley Media System.
Has well kept gardens of remembrance covering 10 acres of formal gardens and native woodland – ideal for those seeking a softer approach.

Sedgemoor Crematorium
Sedgemoor Crematorium Lies between Highbridge and Bridgwater, on the A38 at Stretcholt, the building and grounds are set within the beautiful countryside of the Somerset levels. Within easy driving distance from Junction 23 on the M5, Sedgemoor Crematorium enjoys open grounds with far reaching views.
Has a distinct calming approach to its grounds and chapel, which has picture windows with a peaceful water feature. The chapel seats up to 91 people with standing room for further 50.
As you exit the chapel, it has a separate floral area offering quiet spot for family and friends to gather, where floral tributes remain on display for three nights, unless otherwise instructed.
The chapel has a modern feel, furnished in oak and suitable for ceremonies of any religion or belief. You can listen to pre-recorded music, or live musicians. Taunton Deane Crematorium
Taunton Deane Crematorium is on the western side of the town towards Wellington and is easily reached by car and public transport.
It was opened in 1963, and built by a local firm using stone from local quarries. The Crematorium was presented with a Civic Award in 1965 and became a grade 2 listed building in 1998 because of its special architectural interest.
It is set in beautifully landscaped grounds. Full graves, cremated remains graves and memorials for remembrance are available.
The large chapel can seat 120 people comfortably. Attendance at services can exceed 300 people with standing. You can listen to pre-recorded music, or live musicians. Chapel also has organ. Availability to webcast the funeral (ideal for those who cannot attend can watch), and have photo slides shown during service on the 2 big screens. Fevin Nature Reserve - Somerton Somerset
The Fevin Nature Reserve and Burial Ground once formed part of a hilltop smallholding managed for around forty years by Arthur and Olive Fevin. Arthur and Olive had always adopted a ‘green’ approach to life and in 1998 donated around twelve acres of species rich land to the Butler Memorial Trust. Here at Amanda-Louise Funeral Services we have over 30 years experience organising events of all kinds, so leave it to us to hire your perfect hall, set it up to your liking and supply the catering too if required. Having a funeral ceremony away from the chapel can be more personal. You can plan the decor as you like to set the tone. We can present the coffin so that a full ceremony can take place with dignity. We also have experience of holding a full funeral service where it combined awake with catering at the same time. It was also live streamed, so others could watch via the internet.

Here at Amanda-Louise Funeral Services, we offer alternative venues to hold a funeral service before we go to the crematorium for the cremation.
Using a hotel or facilities in a public house provides a space which offers more serenity than a crematoria's chapel offers, which is why using an alternative venue is becoming more popular. We plan every detail presenting the coffin at the venue with dignity, organise a ceremony to your wishes, where you can remain having a wake while we discreetly convey the coffin to the crematorium.
With our experience in catered hospitality, we work with hotels or restaurants that are sympathetic to funerals to ensure compassion and sensitivity of staffing and arrangements.

With its peaceful and beautifully appointed location, this offers a sense of serenity with the luxury of everything provided for a large number of mourners using their marquee (several option of marquee designs), and no rush on time constraints of your ceremony, unlike how the crematoriums have to work to.
For those preferring not to be inside one of their marquees, then for a smaller number of mourners, a lovely room inside that can be set up in a variety of ways.
