A complete traditional funeral based on longer in our care and multiple visits to your loved one if needed, hearse, 4 bearers, real wood veneered coffin with luxury lining or wicker coffin, coffin flowers, officiant services & fees, 50 premium orders of service programme, crematorium chapel and cremation costs. If burial add on burial costs.

This complete package includes:

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius) of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 21 nights)

·       As many arranged funeral discussions with you, by telephone or in our funeral home or yours (local address) as needed to create a personal farewell

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed

·       Provision of a superior real wood veneered standard size coffin with luxury liner or a standard wicker coffin (value up to £720)

·       Provision of dressing the person who has died if required

·       As many visits to spend time with your deceased loved one in our care during office hours if required, with our gentle preparation and presentation of your loved one for a “viewing” ie open coffin.

·       Our vintage black/burgundy hearse (based on up to 30 mile journey) with significant stops if you wish, plus our 4 professional bearers to convey coffin or option to change hearse ie new Mercedes traditional hearse, horse & carriage, motorcycle hearse etc (at additional costs)

·       Option to add a limousine (at additional cost)

·       Provision of a 3 foot seasonal coffin spray (value up to £150)

·       Our professional duties to edit, scan and upload your photos for a visual slideshow to be shown during the service at crematorium chapel if required

·       Provision of 50 premier orders of service programmes with photographs – designed and printed externally by our outside printer designers (value up to £135)

·       Our professional services to provide memory board(s) and/or notice in newspaper(s) if required (at additional cost)

·       You choose typically between 10 to 5pmweekdays at Crematorium or Cemetery (subject to availability) or on a Saturday (additional costs will apply)

·       Typically 40 minute service (max), unlimited people in attendance

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral, and our funeral director in attendance overseeing the day

·       Providing compassionate care for the deceased person in our designated facilities until the time of the funeral, offering a tranquil and clinical environment- based on up to 14 nights (over that then additional charge of £30 per night). To include option for us to change clothing if required, or we provide simple white shroud

This local West Somerset package includes:

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius)of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 14 nights)

·       An arranged funeral discussion with you, typically by telephone or in our funeral home

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed

·       Provision of a superior standard size wood effect coffin

·       Wrapping the person who has died in a simple white shroud provided by us

·       Hire of our venue to hold family and friends gathering of up to 30 people weekdays between 10-4pm (based on exclusive use of up to 4 hours)

·       Professional Celebrant services to write and conduct a personal service (religious or non religious)

Includes as per bronze essentials above plus an opportunity for closed coffin visit to the person who has died at our premises and/or to be dressed in your alternative clothing

3.Direct Attended Cremation (Gold Essentials) - Additional £250* dependent on crematoria

We recognise a direct is too remote for some families, so in certain circumstances up to 5 family members can attend with us as we walk into chapel, place coffin on catafalque and exit. There is no option to sit and reflect - this can be achieved in our traditional bronze package option.

4.Direct Cremation with Celebration of Life Service in Minehead (Platinum Essentials) from £2550

Includes as per bronze essentials above (but with an upgraded superior wood effect coffin) plus opportunity to have a funeral service written and conducted by a celebrant (religious or non religious) for up to 30 people in our beautiful funeral home (exclusive private use) with large tv screen to show photo slideshow. Ability to add on variety of catering needs, or during evening/weekend at additional cost.

The included fee of cremation may change as they are independently set costs by crematorium, we will let you know if they have increased their charge which will be payable by you. See our Minehead Funeral Package if you want to hold a gathering in our funeral home to have a celebration of life service, with your direct cremation.

DIY Home Funeral Support - The Details

·       Practical support and advice to keep the person who has died in their own home up until the day of their funeral if appropriate to do so, to include advice so you can arrange the funeral administration and paperwork yourself

·       At additional costs, we can offer embalming procedures, completion of legal paperwork on your behalf, coffin and hearse

Our Simple Farewell Cremation Choice

This simple early morning package includes:

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius)of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 14 nights)

·       An arranged funeral discussion with you, typically by telephone or in our funeral home

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed

·       Provision of a superior standard size wood effect coffin

·       Provision of dressing the person who has died if required

·       Provision of a closed coffin visit to the person who has died at our premises in office hours, if required

·       Our private vehicle hearsette via direct route to crematorium

·       Use of our funeral wreath, or you organise flowers

·       Coffin in place in the crematorium before mourners enter to be seated (we use trolley to convey into chapel with no bearers)

·       You choose 8.30am, 9am or 9.30am chapel time at Sedgemoor Crematorium (subject to availability) Mon-Thursday

·       A shorter 20 minute service (max),limited up to 20 people with our Funeral Director providing ‘celebrant’ duties (to write and deliver religious or non religious farewell content)or family can lead this if desired

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral and our funeral director overseeing the day of the funeral
