Our professional service charge includes

·       24/7, 365 phone response (when death occurs)

·       Choice of coming to your home or meeting in branch, or online or via telephone to make arrangements as suits you

·       Collection of the person who has died and our care within our beautiful mortuary*

·       Assistance with all necessary documentation, and advice about registering death – we will guide you step by step

·       Our Minehead oak veneered standard size coffin (other options available) - use of one of our artificial wreaths if wanted

·       An option to visit the person who has died whilst in our care and/or have them dressed (or we will wrap them in a simple white shroud provided by us)

·       Our online death/funeral notice on our personal web page

·       Help with creating an intimate family-led service

·       Exclusive hire of our Chapel for up to 4 hours to hold your funeral ceremony Monday to Friday day or evening or Saturday between 10am to 2pm, use of our equipment (tv, music and lectern) our in memory seed packets, tissues, love heart sweets, tea, coffee and water on arrival.  Options to have professional officiant, buffet, more drinks, orders of service booklets and extended time at additional cost)

·       Then, our private ambulance to directly transport coffin to crematorium (no family or friends to attend) for an unattended cremation where we will enter the Crematorium’s Chapel listening to a piece of music (or if you want to have burial at cemetery on same day, other costs will apply)

·       Amanda-Louise Funeral Services will select a non-attended cremation booking at Sedgemoor or Taunton Crematorium and will let you know the time and date

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral

·       The cremated ashes to be provided in a biodegradable cardboard ashes box. The ashes can be scattered at the crematorium’s garden of remembrance, or you can collect ashes from the crematorium or from our funeral home (within 3 months).

·       Our advice and support following the funeral (if required) : access to our bereavement support groups in Minehead, our grief lending library and attendance of our memorial annual service

·       Third Party advice and support following the funeral (if required) : provision of complimentary grief after care and advice provided by SAIF Care, and/or access to therapeutic bereavement counselling

·       Amanda-Louise Funeral Services will select a booking at Sedgemoor or Taunton Crematorium and will let you know the time and date

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral

·       A piece of music to be played at the crematorium as we enter via the front door of the crematorium’s chapel (no ceremony)

·       The cremated ashes to be provided in a biodegradable cardboard ashes box. The ashes can be scattered at the crematorium’s garden of remembrance, or you can collect ashes from the crematorium or from our funeral home (within 3 months).

·       Our advice and support following the funeral (if required) : access to our bereavement support groups in Minehead, our grief lending library and attendance of our memorial annual service

DIY Home Funeral Support - The Details

·       Practical support and advice to keep the person who has died in their own home up until the day of their funeral if appropriate to do so, to include advice so you can arrange the funeral administration and paperwork yourself

·       At additional costs, we can offer embalming procedures, completion of legal paperwork on your behalf, coffin, hearse and care and support in our clinical mortuary if and when you feel the time is right

·       A 30 minute service at 8.30am, 9am or 5.30pm held at Sedgemoor Crematorium for up to 25 attendees OR a 20 minute service or 9am or 9.30am at Taunton Crematorium for up to 20 people (times to include entry and exit)**
