Our services in arranging all elements of the Funeral. Help completing all the statutory documentation required for the burial or cremation to take place, including liaising with Doctors, Hospitals, HM Coroner,Crematoria, Officiant and other suppliers where necessary, checking &distribution of all documents as required to authorities     

Arranged funeral discussions with you via phone, in our funeral home or at yours. Providing guidance on various options, providing written estimate of charges

Advice on registering the death, how and where to register the death

The collection of the person who has died from a local(within 25 mile radius) address, home, hospice or hospital day or evening, and in our care (based on up to 21 nights)

The care of the deceased person prior to funeral including gentle cleansing, preparation and presentation (if required) – embalming and hygienic treatment additional cost)

Ability of change of clothing and up to 5 appointments for family to spend time with person whilst in our care (by appointment in office hours)

The provision of our wood effect standard size coffin,lined with name plate & delivery suitable for cremation (or option to change) plus funeral gown if required

Provision of our classic black/burgundy hearse (within 25mile journey) with significant stops if you wish, plus up to 6 professional pallbearers to convey coffin

You choose date, time (Mon-Fri between 10am to 4pm) &location of funeral subject to availability

Bespoke Funeral Service (Cremation or Burial) from £2330

This package includes:-

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius) of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 21 nights)

·       As many funeral discussions with you, typically by telephone in our funeral home, or home visit as needed to create a personal ceremony - this will include exploring the many types of order of service ideas, memory boards, visual and musical tributes, us ordering floral arrangements, us finding the right officiant for you, our options for hospitality after the service if required

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed – we guide you step by step

·       Administration of media service requests; scanning, editing, uploading etc where required

·       As many visits to spend time with the deceased person in office hours, if required

·       Provision of our classic black/burgundy hearse (typically up to 30 mile journey) with significant stops if you wish, plus our 4professional bearers to convey coffin

·       Our support and advice on selecting our coffin or casket

·       Your choice of date, time (typically Mon-Fri 10am to 4pm), and location for the funeral service including if any important stops required on journey to the funeral

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral, with our funeral director overseeing the day

·       Our collection and administration of any charitable donations in memory, if required

Our Signature Service professional fee of £2330 covers everything we do at Amanda-Louise Funerals but does not include crematorium or cemetery fees, flowers, hearse, limousine, orders of service, memory board, visual tributes on screen at crematorium or livestreaming, newspaper announcements, officiant, also gives opportunity to choose from our full range of coffins/caskets and coffin suites (luxury liners) and our venue to hire for wake and catering provision

Our Minehead Funeral Choice

This package includes:-

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius) of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 14 nights)

·       An arranged funeral discussion with you, typically by telephone or in our funeral home

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed

·       Provision of a superior size wood effect coffin *

·       Wrapping the person who has died in a simple white shroud provided by us

·       Hire of our venue to hold family and friends gathering of up to 30 people (price based on Mon-Fri day or afternoon) but option to have during evening or weekend

·       Professional Celebrant fee to write a personal (religious or non religious) service delivered at our Minehead venue

·       We choose the time, day and crematoria location (we only use local crematoriums) - this will before or after your Minehead service

·       Funeral announcement on our website page

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral

·       Transporting coffin to crematorium by direct route in our private hearsette – no family or friends present

·       We collect ashes on your behalf, if required, and you collect from our funeral home within 1 month and assistance in choosing and purchasing (additional cost) a scatter tube, urn or memory bear, jewellery as keepsake

Our Greener Funeral Choice

This package includes:-

·       Completing of all statutory documentation required for thecremation to take place, including liaising with Doctors and HM Coroner if necessary

·       Arranged funeral discussion with you (typically by telephone, in our funeral home or at yours)

·       The collection of the person who has died from a local(within 25 mile radius) address, home, hospice or hospital day or evening, and in our care (based on up to 14 nights)

·       Providing gentle personal care including washing and if required, makeup, haircare, dressing in your alternative clothing of natural fibres

·       The provision of a value wicker standard size coffin with name plate & delivery (or extra cost/option to upgrade to wicker coffin hand weaved in Somerset Wicker or cardboard)

·       Family visit with person in our care (by appointment for up to an hour in office hours) if required

·       Provision for a natural graveside setting for a ceremony& committal, location of your choice (based on up to 60 miles)

·       Hearse (or our hearsette) and 4 bearers on day of funeral to convey coffin direct to burial ground

·       Assistance with ordering flowers, newspaper notices

·       Collection & administration of charitable donations if required

1.Direct Cremation (Bronze Essentials) £1395 includes:-

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius) of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 14 nights)

·       An arranged funeral discussion with you, typically by telephone or in our funeral home

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed

·       Provision of a standard size wood effect coffin

·       Wrapping the person who has died in a simple white shroud provided by us

·       We choose the time, day and location, includes crematorium fee (we only use local crematoriums)

·       Funeral announcement on our website page

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral

·       Transporting coffin to crematorium by direct route in our private hearsette – no family or friends present

Includes as per bronze essentials above plus an opportunity for closed coffin visit to the person who has died at our premises and/or to be dressed in your alternative clothing

3.Direct Attended Cremation (Gold Essentials) - Additional £250* dependent on crematoria

We recognise a direct is too remote for some families, so in certain circumstances up to 5 family members can attend with us as we walk into chapel, place coffin on catafalque and exit. There is no option to sit and reflect - this can be achieved in our traditional bronze package option.

4.Direct Cremation with Celebration of Life Service in Minehead (Platinum Essentials) from £2010

Includes as per bronze essentials above (but with an upgraded superior wood effect coffin) plus opportunity to have a funeral service written and conducted by a celebrant (religious or non religious) for up to 30 people in our beautiful funeral home (exclusive private use) with large tv screen to show photo slideshow. Ability to add on variety of catering needs, or during evening/weekend at additional cost.

The included fee of cremation may change as they are independently set costs by crematorium, we will let you know if they have increased their charge which will be payable by you. See our Minehead Funeral Package if you want to hold a gathering in our funeral home to have a celebration of life service, with your direct cremation.

DIY Home Funeral Support - The Details

·       Practical support and advice to keep the person who has died in their own home up until the day of their funeral if appropriate to do so, to include advice so you can arrange the funeral administration and paperwork yourself

·       At additional costs, we can offer embalming procedures, completion of legal paperwork on your behalf, coffin and hearse

Our Simple Farewell Cremation Choice

What's included:-

·       Local collection (based on up to 25 mile radius) of the person who has died in office hours, to be cared for in our clinical mortuary in our funeral home (based on up to 14 nights)

·       An arranged funeral discussion with you, typically by telephone or in our funeral home

·       Support to ensure necessary paperwork is completed

·       Provision of our superior standard size wood effect coffin*

·       Provision of dressing the person who has died if required

·       A visit to spend time with the deceased person at our premises in office hours, if required

·       Our vintage black/burgundy hearse or private vehicle hearsette via direct route to crematorium

·       Use of our funeral wreath, or you organise flowers

·       Coffin in place in the crematorium before mourners enter to be seated (we use trolley to convey into chapel)

·       You choose 8.30, 9 or 9.30am chapel time at Sedgemoor Crematorium (subject to availability) Mon-Thursday - our help with creating an intimate family-led service that our Funeral Director or family member can deliver (religious or non-religious content)

·       A shorter 20 minute service, limited up to 20 people

·       The services of our staff throughout the funeral

·       Our complimentary seed packets in memory

·       We collect ashes on your behalf, if required, and you collect from our funeral home within 1 month and assistance in choosing and purchasing (additional cost) a scatter tube, urn or memory bear, jewellery as keepsake
