At Amanda-Louise's we are award winning and quality assured by SAIF (the main body who set standards for independent funeral directors and inspects them). We arrange and conduct funerals mainly in the South West but have worked across the UK and Ireland. We value those who work for Amanda-Louise.

We want you to feel confident and connected with the people arranging your funeral. We know how important a person’s story is when you’re getting to know someone, so here is a little bit of information for each member of our team.

Gill Carroll

Gill is one of our lady funeral directors, having joined us in 2023. Gill has a wealth of experience and skillset, having served in the police and medical environment.

Gill works alongside Amanda-Louise sensitively caring for our deceased guests, or can be found supporting our clients as their dedicated funeral director. She has even be known to be a bearer for us too.

Gill lives in Minehead and has two adult children, and enjoys walking and running.

You will often see Gill at our funerals, either as funeral director or working alongside Amanda-Louise

Our caring professional team at Amanda-Louise Funeral Director Services, are proud to support families in Minehead, Exmoor, Taunton, Bridgwater and all the surrounding villages and towns across Somerset and Devon. They have even been booked by families in Hampshire and Dorset whom wanted our lady funeral director services, as distance is no trouble for this team. Currently, Amanda-Louise Funeral Directors have supported a family travelling to Ireland with their repatriation services.
