Pandanus Coffins

When it comes to an alternative coffin, this one ticks all the boxes and is affordable too. Suitable for cremation, traditional or natural burial. Our photos shows how beautiful it looks surrounded by a floral tribute.

The pandanus coffins are made from the leaves of a prolific growing plant, a provider of a highly renewable and sustainable material. The dried leaves are being twisted into cord using traditional methods, then woven and coiled around a natural cane framework. Rattan is also woven into the coffins’ design to create a striking lightweight contrast against the silvery colour of the Pandanus.

Interior: Comes with natural lining as standard. Choose to upgrade to natural sheet, pillow and mattress

Durability: All our coffins are certified to British Standards. They will come with a solid base or a charging board (cardboard range) and will have been tested to hold around 25 stone, otherwise the coffin will be made by bespoke order for plus size.
