Somerset To Celebrate International Women’s Day
Inspirational businesswomen take the spotlight next month for a special event celebrating local women in Taunton.
8th March Taunton Chamber of Commerce are organising a relaxed networking event from 10.30am to 12.45pm held at the Queens College, Trull Road, Taunton, which is free of charge entry via tickets.
On the day, along with contributions from the students at Queen’s College, presentations to Queen's IWD competition winners, opportunity for relaxed networking over refreshments, plus talks from some inspirational local women, including Amanda-Louise Knight from Amanda-Louise Knight Weddings Proposals and Events who came 2nd place in the Small Business of the Year Category at the West Country Womens Awards and Laura Kate O’Driscoll from OD Talent Solutions.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme is embracing equity, so it is hoped to have many countries from all over the world represented in the event coming together to network, have fun, and make some connections over light refreshments.
Amanda-Louise who also owns Amanda-Louise Funeral Directors said “Im delighted to have been asked to be a speaker celebrating all the excellent women in the business community”.
